I'm working on ideas for another book in a similar
vein. The older entry about this work, for those who like literary history: This was a radical departure for me, a non-fiction book discussing magic, alternative medicine, and various New Age concepts and how they might be related to quantum physics. newWitch magazine (Issue 10) gave me a five broomstick review! Friends tell me that this book has been the subject of the call-in radio show Coast to Coast AM with George Noory; I would like to be able to confirm this fact. And I got some fan mail from someone who is using this as the textbook for the class he's teaching (as the web listing for the class says, subject to availability.) Makes me proud. I know, I know, you can't find it. It's officially still in print, but the publisher's distribution channels seem to be having trouble getting copies to the bookstores (at least so my local independent *and* major chain booksellers tell me). And I know there are still copies available out there, because the book hasn't earned out yet, as of this spring's royalty statements. So I don't know where all the copies went either. I keep buying them up when I see them at Half Price Books and giving them to my friends who haven't been able to find one. The good news is that the rights reverted to me on February 1st, and Citadel said it would take them another 6 months to process the reversion, which puts the date at August 1st. I should be hearing from my agent any day now, and I already have publishers interested in putting out a second edition. So with any luck, you'll be able to get one sooner or later! (And my humble opinion is that the "large-format" print-on-demand version really looks butt-ugly.) All text copyright (c) William H. Keith |
