My second foray into humorous fiction, this time in Keith Laumer's world of interstellar diplomacy.  In the 60s, I was in the Navy as a hospital Corpsman, and I didn't drink, smoke, or swear.  So all the college-campus hippie-60s peace-love-music drugs-sex-rock-and-roll stuff just kind passed me by, and some of the research for this book involved asking friends for the appropriate slang words and jargon that I'd never heard of.
