Newly revised for the 21^st Century!

I am an SF and military writer with eighty-six published books so far, plus numerous short stories, games, and gaming modules, for a total—so far—of 140 published titles.  If you had one copy of each, you'd have over 43,000 pages' worth, and if you bought them all at list price you'd have spent well over a thousand dollars by now.  And then there are the books now at the publishers' offices, one currently being written, a couple more under contract, and still more ideas percolating around that will become books in due time. 

This web site used to be a blatant piece of egoistic self-promotion,  but since I haven't updated it since last century, I guess my ego's shrunk a bit.  I offer no apology for the delay except that I've been a bit busy; there have been a lot of changes in my life over the past seven or eight years.  The one thing that hasn't changed is that I'm still a logophile, and afflicted with serious diarrhea of the fingers.

This web site includes my professional bio; my complete bibliography; short discussions of both upcoming and recently completed projects; links to research Web sites, friends' home pages, and other alien places; and samples of my photorealist artwork of the aliens, ships, and equipment that figure in my novels.  I've added a page of my early work developing role-playing games, a separate page for short stories, a page listing some of the Cons and Gatherings I plan to attend, and another page for the random musings and background data of the sort that I'd post on a blog if I were a blogger-type person.  There's no new art on the Artwork pages, but their internal links should be working; the Links pages will take a while longer, and the only part of them I'll guarantee right now is the link back to this home page.

My special thanks to my dear friend Brea, who actually waded through all of this electronic garbage to help with the update!  If it hadn't been for her, the next revision probably wouldn't have been done before the 22^nd Century!
